CARBON EMISSION REDUCTION

CARBON EMISSION REDUCTION

A generator or vehicle will produce a generally accepted figure of 2.6kg of CO2 every time it consumes a litre of diesel. An inefficient generator or vehicle will require more fuel to perform the same task and produce even more than 2.6kgs every time a litre of diesel is consumed.

Reducing the volume of diesel needed for a task via improvements in efficiency will directly reduce the CO2 produced and introduced into the atmosphere.

HOW ?

Consider that there are presently tasks that require 50 litres of fuel to be consumed.

A case where 50 litres of fuel initially consumed in an inefficient vehicle / generator producing 2.6 x 50 = 130kgs of CO2 in the process can now be reduced to 30 litres via the use of efficiency improving additives like X-Tend means that the CO2 now produced becomes 2.6 x 30 litres = 78 kgs of CO2.  This is effectively a reduction of 52kgs of CO2.

Reduction in CO2 every time this same task is now performed is in the region of 40%.
